Prophet Akin-Roberts Adenusi, from a commercial Danfo bus driver in Lagos, has grown in grace into the realm of the prophetic since his exit from the Foursquare Gospel Church and passage through the Christ Apostolic Church (C.A.C). A gifted singer, prolific writer and prophet by calling, the Ondo-state born amiable Prophet Adenusi now leads Sought out Generation Christian Ministry; commissioned by God in the year 2001 to make souls prosper for His kingdom according to 3 John 2.
Sought out Generation Christian Ministry formally commenced works after its inauguration in 200I with a powerful 7 Nights of Solution programme that featured as guest ministers Pastor Mrs. Kalejaiye of the RCCG and other God’s generals. Since its start in 2001, the yearly programme remains the flagship programme of the Pentecostal and prophetic ministry where God annually saves quantum of lost souls, deliver the captives, causes breakthroughs and releases blessings to people under the prophetic unction of Prophet Adenusi and the guest ministers at the yearly event with profound testimonies from the participants from all walks of life.
The stage is set for the 2023’s 7 Nights of Solution starting from July 23, 2023 at the church auditorium in Ogba, Lagos. Aside Adenusi, the 7 nights of soul winning, blessings, breakthrough and deliverance will feature as guest ministers, Pastor Kenneth N. Edet, Rev. Dr. Raphael Akin Adenusi , Prophet Akande Olawale Pastor Edgal Edwin and Prophet Ayodele Adejubu. “It’s all about soul-winning, deliverance, blessings and breakthroughs for all the participants,” Rev. Roberts declares on this year’s meeting with the theme: “The Voice of God.”

Please, can we meet you sir?
You are welcome and blessed. I am Prophet Akin-Roberts Adenusi, Senior Pastor, Sought out Generation Christian Ministry, Ogba, Lagos.
Briefly share with us about your upbringing, including your rebirth encounter In Jeremiah 1:5, God said to Jeremiah that before he was born He knew him and made him a prophet to the Nations right from the womb. I was born in Ondo town and brought up in Edo, specifically in Benin-City where I schooled and worked before destiny took me to Lagos after so many years. I worked with many companies in Lagos before I finally turned a Danfo driver when there was no source of income. I joined the Foursquare Gospel Church as a member but grew fast because of my singing gifts notwithstanding the spiritual and physical hindrances.
Also, share with us how you received the call to ministry, and since when you have been in ministry
I received the call to the ministry in 1991 but refused to yield; concentrating on how to make ends meet. I loved my service (singing) in the church but still a Danfo driver before I gave it up all to God after so many obstacles and confrontations in 1996/1997.
Which were the other ministries where you served before this present work?
I served in the Foursquare Gospel Church under Rev. Dr. Osuah. I left for Christ Apostolic Church (C.A.C) when my prophetic gift began manifestations because as at then the Foursquare didn’t recognize such gift and some other churches at Ketu until God called me out in 1999. I started a vigil at Ikosi Ketu in Lagos till 2000 when God told me to go to Akute before He finally took us to Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos to establish His Church. I give all the glory, honour and majesty to the Almighty God.
What is the vision and mandate of Sought Out Generation Christian ministry
After I heard God’s voice audibly to start the ministry, I went on the mountain where He gave me the name. He said to me you shall call my ministry “SOUGHT OUT” with reference to the Book of Isaiah 62:12. The vision is to make souls prosper for His kingdom according to 3 John 2. That’s where we derived the name, Sought out Generation Christian Ministry. In 2006, because of my vision of reaching out to souls both home and abroad, I decided to further my education at the Lagos State University (LASU) where I graduated with a degree in Public Administration.
Tell us about the church’s programmes in line with its vision and mandate?
After the inauguration of the church in 2001, the Lord commanded that 7 nights should commence and the first guest minister was Pastor Mrs. Kalejaiye of RCCG and several other generals that God sent to us.
Briefly share with us some testimonies from the church programmes?
The testimonies are too many to recall but let’s mention few like soul winning, deliverance from mental illnesses and death, fruitfulness in many barren cases such as marriage, child birth and breakthroughs etc
What are some the gifts God endowed you to fulfill this mandate?
I am gifted in music, writing and prophetic.
What is the coming 7 Night of Solution programme of the church all about?
It’s all about soul-winning, deliverance and breakthroughs for all the participants.
How will you describe the impact of Sought Out Generation Christian Ministry over the years that that church is established?
Sought Out has touched so many lives and families home and abroad such as C.A.C Stock well and several places in the UK through God’s servant, Prophet Akin-Roberts Adenusi.
Lastly, how will you describe God’s move in the church, so far this year, and what more should people expect from the church before the close of the year 2023?
God has been proving Himself in the ministry. He’s still at work. Our expectations are in the Lord Jesus Christ through His power of resurrection in Jesus name.
