EXHORTATION
Deut. 31 v 6 & 8 v.6 “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” v.8 “And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.”
To forsake means:
To abandon
To leave
To depart from
To leave behind
To turn one’s back on
To reject
To disown
THE CRY OF O! LORD! DO NOT FORSAKE ME
Psalm 38 v 21, “Forsake me not, O LORD: O my God, be not far from me.
This is the cry of many globally now in an overwhelming situation; in a confused state.
At the junction of:
“I don’t know what to do”
“I don’t know where to go”
“I don’t know who to turn to”
“I don’t know who to trust”
“I don’t know how to press on”
“I don’t know how to forge ahead”
A cry at a stage in life when having done all, nothing seems to be working.
A cry when disappointment is coming from all sides.
A cry when loneliness is biting your hand.
A cry when you don’t know how to pray about a situation again.
A cry when betrayals are coming from where you least expect.
A cry when age is not on your side and things re not working out.
A cry when you are running about helter-skelter when you should be resting.
A cry when it seems that no one cares for you again.
A cry when people contort terrible lies against you and you are left alone.
A cry when no one is giving you listening ears.
A cry when you are misunderstood always.
A cry when all your mates have gone well far ahead of you.
A cry when you need:
Urgent Visitation
Urgent Intervention
Urgent Support
Urgent Help
Urgent Settlement
Urgent Surprises
Urgent Assurance
A cry when your life time dream is not manifesting.
A cry when you are tempted to do funny things that may injure your destiny and future.
A cry when though you are:
Gifted but not lifted
Talented but frustrated
Beautiful but not married
Married, medically okay, but no children
Hoping, but no manifestation
Labouring but no results
Doing well in interviews but not selected
Brilliant but wretched
Loaded with ideas but no resources to start up
Talented but not Patronized
Talented but not Recognized
Talented but not Prospering
Making money but nothing to show for it
Stagnated with mockery
A rolling stone gathering no moss
GOD IS WITH YOU; HE WILL NEVER FORSAKE YOU
Isaiah 43v1& 2 (NLT) v.1 “But now, O Jacob, listen to the Lord who created you. O Israel, the one who formed you says, “Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine.”v.2, “When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.”
Isaiah 42:16, “And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.”
Isaiah 41 v 17, “When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.”
God is with you in all conditions. That deep troublesome water will not swallow you. That River of difficulty will not drown you in Jesus name. That fire of oppression, depression, will not burn you. God will never forsake you in Jesus name.
