Dr. Wole Akinyemi Olarinde is the Publisher\Editor-in-Chief of Christian Benefits magazine and Iwe Iroyin Anfaani Kristeni. He is alsothe Executive Director of the Benefits Awards for Missionary Excellence (BAME Awards).
Wole is a graduate of mass communication of The Polytechnic, Ibadan with a Higher National Diploma (HND). He also holds a World Bank-sponsored certificate in Investigative Journalism. Wole started his career as a reporter at The Guardian newspapers, and subsequently worked at Poise magazine and Media Review magazine. Hefreelancedfor Third Eye newspapers, Ibadan; TheTide newspapers,Port Harcourt and The Sunray newspapers, Port Harcourt,before quitting secular journalism in the year 2000 in response to God’s call upon his life with the birth of Christian Benefits magazinein the year 2000 after co-founding with his friends, The Millennium Communication in 1998.
Otunba Jesu, as Wole is fondly called, is a media consultant, creative writer, poet and vivacious author. Among his published books are: Otunba Jesu: The Story of the Conflicts in Heaven. The Rehab’s Cord; The Confessions of a Born Again Prostitute, and My Dossier: a Celebration of 20 years in Christian Journalism that include 20 of his poems that he started writing in the secondary school.
Also, Dr. Wole Akinyemi Olarinde is the Executive Director of Christian Benefits Missionary Foundation (CBMF); a support base for Christian rural missionaries, and the Executive Director of Campaign Against Pedophilia Africa (CAPA).
As a veteran journalist and writer, Wole Olarinde was honored in 2019 with a doctorate in Christian communication/media services by International Institute of Church Management Florida, USA in conjunction with Salvation Herald Bible College Nigeria, in recognition and commemoration of his 20 years in Christian Journalism practices from 2000-2020. Wole hails from Akinmoorin in Afijio Local Government of Oyo state. He is fruitfully married to Funmi Olarinde and blessed with wonderful children
