All eyes now set on August 26th 2021 for the birthday celebration of a seasoned preacher of the gospel, a prayer virtuoso, a massive crusader, an erudite scholar, and a selfless philanthropist to the needy, Prophet Dr. Olajide Akinwunmi Oshodi.
Prophet Olajide Akinwunmi Oshodi is the General Overseer of Chapel of Solution Int’l Christian Centre. Founded in 2004 at Bariga, Lagos, and incorporated in 2008, the prophetic church is reputed as a citadel of solution & miracles. Its powerful annual “Koseunti Night of Miracles” since 2013 is a crowd-pulling with awesome testimonies from various participants from all walks of life at the night of miracles.
The amiable prophet was formerly a renowned minister at Mountain of Fire & Miracles Ministries (MFM) where he ministered for several years with signs, miracles and wonders following his ministrations until the Lord called him into another work that birthed Chapel of Solution Int’l Christian Centre in 2004.
Within few years in existence, Chapel of Solution Int’l Christian Centre has grown with a 2000 capacity cathedral presently under construction. This was preceded by many years of prayer and fasting in the wilderness by the prophet before the Lord answered his prayers. “This year 2021, we started the 2000 capacity cathedral of Chapel of Solution Int’l Christian Centre at Lameda Bus stop, Ifo, Ogun state, Nigeria through the support of the partners and friends of the church worldwide,” Oshodi disclosed.
Dr. Oshodi was brought up in a Cherubim & Seraphim (C&S) parish at Ladi Lak, Bariga, Lagos. He began his prophetic work at the age of 3 years at the white garment .church where he started telling people the mind of God and solutions to their problems. “Due to the work of my prophetic gift from childhood, I’m close to God, learning through life. On December 1993 I had an accident in school. I saw myself rolling inside water and screaming Jesus, help me! Jesus, help me! Jesus, help me, until a tall white man appeared and showed me what to do. He showed me the area of my calling. When I woke up I saw people pouring water on me,” he recalls the encounter of his calling by God into ministry.
Gifted as a prophet and teacher, the cleric told Christian Benefits that God gave him the mandate to set the captive free. “I am sent by God to set the captive free from bondage by His word and power. I am also a philanthropist. I love putting smiles on the faces of people, especially the less privileged in the society,” he said.
Beyond the spiritual, Prophet Dr. Olajide Oshodi runs the philanthropy arm of his ministry on the platform of Olajide Oshodi World Outreach. Through this arm, the prophet reaches out with support in materials and cash to orphans, the motherless, widows, senior citizens, destitute and other vulnerable people. The humanitarian outreach also gives scholarship to indigent students as well as empowers women.
Olajide Oshodi World Outreach started at Oshodi, Lagos in 2013. Over the years, the outreach has supported the S.O.S Children village, Isolo Lagos and the destitute at Oko Oba Agege. During the COVID-19 lock down in 2020 the outreach fed over 1000 people at Orile Agege. The outreach regularly supplies free exercise books to the schools in the Agege community. Beside its humanitarian efforts, Olajide Oshodi World Outreach also organizes revivals, seminars, crusades and picnics.
As usual practice every year, Prophet Dr. Olajide Akinwunmi Oshodi will further reach out with supports to the less privileged on his birthday on August 26, 2021.” I always dedicate my birthday celebration every year August 26 to the less fortunate souls across the country on the platform of Olajide Oshodi World Outreach. This year is not going to be an exception. We will reach out to the less privileged again with many goodies for them on my birthday on August 26, 2021,” he assured.
Dr. Olajide Akinwunmi Oshodi is a man of loyal and dedicated commitment to several services to God and humanity. He has a very rich resume of services to God and humanity. Aside being the General Overseer of Chapel of Solution Int’l Christian Centre; a prophetic healing and miracles ministry and President of Olajide Oshodi World Outreach, Oshodi is also the Dean of Faculty of Immanuel University of Theology International South Africa (Nigeria Campus) and the National Media Director of God Bless Africa Movement (GBAM) South Africa/Nigeria.
