Prophetess Amara Love Ezeala, the founder of Elijah Chariot of Fire Peculiar Ministry Int’l, Ejigbo, Lagos, says prophetic churches are war zones of deliverance from spiritual problems. In the below interview with Christian Benefits’ Celestine Chuks, the prophetess explains how her ministry conducts deliverance by singing with prophetic direction and revelation without laying of hand on people. Excerpts
Please, can we meet you ma?
My name is Prophetess Amara Love Ezeala, the founder of Elijah Chariot of Fire Peculiar Ministry. I am from Okigwe, Imo state and married to Mr. Edwin Obinna Ezeala from Isialambanu local government of Imo state.
Briefly share with us your upbringing and background
I was born in a Christian home. My father is an evangelist while my mother was a Sunday school teacher. My father was one of the people that brought Assemblies of God Church to our village. My parents from childhood introduced me to church activities. As a child I passed through the children class and the Sunday school class. My entire life is church. While in secondary school my mates nicknamed me Amara Assemblies. That was my background before I answered the call to ministry
Tell us about your rebirth encounter before your call to ministry.
The fact that one was born in a Christian home does not mean one is automatically born again. Despite that I was born in a Christian home, I personally gave my life to Jesus Christ when I was 11 years old and vowed to follow him till death. Before my second encounter with Christ at 25 years old I was already giving prophecies to people from the age of 12 without knowing that the prophecies were coming to past. I grew up to become a chorister and Sunday school teacher. At a point I was the choir mistress.
Briefly share with how you founded Elijah Chariot of Fire Peculiar Ministry
I started my ministry at Abakaliki, Ebonyi state in 2011 before moving to Lagos after my marriage in 2012, and started fully in Lagos with my husband in 2016.
What is the commission of Elijah Chariot of Fire Peculiar Ministry?
Elijah Chariot of Fire Peculiar Ministry is a prophetic and deliverance ministry. God commissioned us for healing, liberation from evil covenants and curses and for soul winning to Christ through evangelism. God told me our prophetic gifting is primarily for soul winning and preparation of people for heaven. Our miracle testimonies are aimed at winning souls to Christ, which is the core of our mandate.
Tell us the peculiarity of your ministry as its name suggests?
In our ministry whenever we sing an angel comes down to conduct deliverance for people. We don’t lay hand on people for deliverance. Instead, Jesus comes down in form of an angel to conduct deliverance for people. We pray before the wrought of deliverance in our ministry. Prophetic churches are war grounds against forces. Prophetic churches are war zones against spiritual hostages. In our ministry we don’t engage in deliverance warfare without seeking direction from God. When people come for deliverance in our church, we first use prophetic eye to see their problems. The same prophetic eye will reveal the solutions to their problems. A revealed problem is already solved. God does not give revelation without solution. The two colours; ash and pink in our logo represent God’s glory and His presence.
What informed the name, Elijah Chariot of Fire Peculiar Ministry?
God told me he has given me the power of fire that whoever I stretch forth my hand, fire will consume the battle in the life of that person. God showed me Elijah as a man of fire to fight and conquer enemies. You can’t win battles without fire. So, God gave us that name to explain what the ministry represents. In addition, there was a time in a dream in which I saw myself caged in my father’s house after I conducted a deliverance session. I asked God what I should do, and he gave me a prayer point that from wherever I was caged let the wings of the chariot of Elijah carry me out. Suddenly, the wings of the chariot of Elijah appeared to me where I was caged inside a cupboard and flew me out through the ceiling of that house. God used my deliverance from the cage on the wings of the chariot of Elijah as a revelation of the name of my ministry. God told me whoever is caged and comes to our ministry shall be delivered in like manner on the wings of the chariot of Elijah. We call our ministry peculiar because it is peculiar and different from the usual prophetic churches. We are not a prophetic church that doesn’t preach the word of God. We preach the word of God and do evangelism for souls winning to Christ.
