Christ Family Life Church (CFLC) Okota, Lagos, on Sunday April 30, 2023 concluded her 19th anniversary celebration with prophetic declarations of deliverance and restoration to its entire members and other participants at the anniversary thanksgivings service held at the church auditorium.
Rev. Dr. Adewale Ojo, the general overseer in his sermon assured the congregation of deliverance from whatever had held them bound. “Whatever has held you bound. Whatever has limited your fulfillment, you are being delivered from it. No one after this anniversary will remain in bondage. Your deliverance is guaranteed,” he assured, and highlighted in Joel 2:45, deliverance and restoration as two guarantees for people, especially believers. He however added that people can only be delivered from bondage or be restored by the Word.
“It is not until somebody lays hand on you, spins you and rolls you around before you are delivered. You are primarily delivered by the Word. You are primarily delivered when your heart is opened and you cry to God for help. When God’s Word penetrates your heart; when God’s Word penetrates your life, change is inevitable. After deliverance is restoration according Joel 2:25, “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the canker worm and the caterpillar, and the palmer worm, my great army which I sent among you,” he quoted the scripture
The CFLC’s general overseer then prophetically declares to the entire people in the congregation: “I proclaim your restoration in the name of Jesus; your restoration of glory, your restoration of home, your restoration of beauty in the name of Jesus.
“I decree and declare between now and our next convention anyone here believing God for the fruit of the womb, you will be carrying your baby in your hands. The singles here desiring to be married, as the Lord liveth before the next convention, you will be happily married in Jesus name. You are here today, your business is suffering. Your finances are in comatose. You are not even sure of the next step.
“As Jesus came into the life of Peter and his toiling ceased, I command your toiling to cease. I command your struggle to end. I declare restoration over you business, over your career, over your vocation. Anything you do for living I speak God’s blessings upon it in the name of Jesus. Whatever your situation, don’t expect it to remain because after this service, your story will change. Your name will change. Your level will change. As a church we are changing level. As a family we are changing level. As a husband, you are changing level in the name of the Lord.”
In his recaps on Supernatural Abundance, the anniversary’s theme, Rev. Dr. Ojo says supernatural abundance is God’s involving in the life or affairs of a person. “On Thursday; Day One of the anniversary the word of God came forth powerfully through His anointed voices. We learned very clearly that supernatural abundance is God’s involving in your life or affairs. Supernatural abundance only comes to reality when you put your faith in God. God, who brought something out of nothing, can turn your nothing into something,” the reverend assured.
The Word-loaded CFLC’s general overseer also cited divine direction as another channel for supernatural abundance, stating that supernatural abundance is the portion of those who are divinely directed. “Remember, you must put God first; seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness: and all these things shall be added unto you (Mathew 6:33). When you put God first in the affairs of your life, supernatural abundance will be a reality in your life. When you obey God’s instructions you are set for supernatural abundance,” the general overseer assured again.
Rev. Ojo added a new life in Christ as another basis for supernatural abundance. “The word of God came powerfully again on Day Two of the anniversary that you need the life of God for supernatural abundance to take place in your life. You can’t live your life unrighteous and expect a change. You need God’s life that He has made available in His Son Jesus. You must live a life of self denial to allow God make supernatural abundance a reality in your life. You must have intimate relationship with God through worship, fasting and prayer. Get a prayer partner in church that you share your concerns with and pray together. You must also give in to fasting; by so doing, you keep your flesh always for God manifesting Himself.
“Lastly, you must be word-filled. The Word of God must fill you up for God’s supernatural abundance to be a reality in your life. Psalm 1:2-3, “But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” Always sit down meditating on God’s word with gospel music, not whiz kid.
“There is a great future in him who knows that Word. Your situation may not have changed presently, but when the Word is there, it has the ability to bring transformation into the future that you desire to be proud of.” Always meditate on the Word of God both day and night. Verse 3 explains a supernatural abundance, “And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” the cleric pointed.
