A fast-growing Ibadan-based The Victory Singers International will host a galaxy of gospel singers and choirs in the ancient Oluyole city for their 2024 annual anniversary celebration holding Sunday July 21, 2024.
The all-praise anniversary themed: Praises for a New God-thing will take place at Apostolic Church of Christ (ACC), Apostle Mobolaji Missionary Headquarters, Jagun Akanran Road, Ibadan, Oyo state. starting from 4pm. According to Rev. Dr. Olusumbo Sangogade, the group leader, in an interview with Christian Benefits, The Victory Singers International yearly anniversary is aimed at expressing gratitude to God for His goodness.
“The idea is to offer a special thanksgiving unto the Lord. As you know, our Lord takes no other food other than our thanksgiving. And one unique way of offering thanksgiving to the Lord is through praise & worship music. Praise & worship thanksgiving wrought wonderful miracles in the lives of people. In the atmosphere of praise & worship thanksgiving unto the Lord, the heavens usually open and God showers abundant blessings, salvation, healing, deliverance and awesome miracles, signs and wonders upon the people in such atmosphere.
“This is exactly what we do and experience yearly at The Victory Singers International anniversary. Through this God has helped us to overcome lots of challenges. In the journey of life there are lots of challenges. Since we started holding this event annually God has been helping us to overcome challenges,” Sangogade expressed.

The Victory Singers International is an integral part of Apostolic Church of Christ (ACC). However, the music group also ministers outside ACC as a gospel music ministry, according to Sangogade, the group leader cum ACC director of music. “The Victory Singers International members are largely members of Apostolic Church of Christ (ACC) choir. We keep the singers in the church in order not to cause divisions in the church choir. If I were to run the group as an independent ministry a lots of the church choir members will join the ministry, and that may adversely affect the church choir.
“We receive invites from other churches, ministries and individuals; and also for crusades and revivals within and outside ACC to minister at church programmes, weddings, child dedications, house warming, burials and other social functions. That is why we have several church choirs, music ministers and gospel singers feature yearly at our annual thanksgiving anniversary,” the ACC Music director disclosed to Christian Benefits.
The Victory Singers International’s anniversary this year Sunday, July 21, 2024 will feature Prophet (Dr.) Sunday Babatunde JP (Baba Wonderful) as guest speaker. It will also attract some other prominent ministers: Elder O. Emiola (Baba Ijo), Deaconess F, Bolaji (Iya Ijo), Rev J.A. Oyediran and Rev. T Olayiwola JP (ministers in charge). Others are Apostle (Mother) Funke Abiona and Apostle (Mother) Florence Gbadebo, (Host Ministers), Rev. (Dr.) Sumbo Sangogade JP (Music Director), Apostle S. Oderonke (General Evangelist), Apostle (Dr.) J.O.T Sangogade (Vice President) and Apostle (Dr.) K.O Sangogade (President/GO).
