Mojisola Abdul in this interview with Christian Benefits on Apostles in the Market Place, shares the secret of her business success, and how she finds time amid her tight business schedule to preach the gospel.

I’m Lady Evang. Mojisola Abdul, the CEO of MOJEC Int’l Group of Companies and the Senior Pastor of Almighty Compassion Church, Ikotun, Lagos.
Briefly share with us how you encountered Jesus Christ?
I encountered Jesus Christ while searching for my beads (Muslim prayer rosary) in a dream. In that dream I suddenly saw myself preaching in churches. I relayed the dream to my Imam (Islamic cleric). And he told me that I was going to convert to a Christian. That dream paved the way for my eventual conversion to a Christian.
How did your business associates react to your conversion to Christianity?
They are not my creator. God is my creator. And to God be the glory, my business moves on more successfully. We pray daily in all our offices and preach the word.
In what way have you been propagating the gospel since your conversion?
Anywhere I am needed. Anywhere my assistance is needed. I’m there either to preach the gospel or contribute to the winning of souls for Jesus Christ genuinely.
You are a widely traveled successful businesswoman. How can you compare Christianity practice in Nigeria to the various countries you have visited?
There are dedicated Christians, particularly in Europe and America. They are ready to spend any amount on churches. They are ready to withdraw money from banks to build a church of God. They are not hypocrites. There’s no genuine commitment to practicing the Christian faith among most Nigerians. Most Nigerian Christians are hypocrites. James 1:22 says “Be ye doers of the word.” Most Nigerians are not. Most Nigerians are after miracles and prosperity, whereas what is most important to God is our salvation. He wants us to be saved. God wants us to do away with all unrighteousness. Christians in Nigeria should be more committed to practices that will genuinely showcase the salvation of their souls for the kingdom of God.
