SPECIAL APPEAL TO MR PRESIDENT, BOLA AHMED TINUBU ON THE PROPOSED SEXATHON GUINNESS BOOK OF RECORDS SLATED FOR IKORODU, NIGERIA.
BY PST. GIDEON OYEDEPO
CHERUBIM AND SERAPHIM BIBLE MINISTRIES,
LAGOS, NIGERIA.

DEAR MR PRESIDENT & FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA :

“PLEASE GUARD THE SOUL OF NIGERIA”
REPRIMAND ENTERTAINER “MANDY KISS”; SEND HER FOR MENTAL REHAB.

Scripture solemnly warns that a nation’s destiny is irrevocably tied to its collective moral and spiritual condition before God. The current trend of embracing foreign ideologies and practices – particularly those promoting the “spirit of the age” characterized by self-love, rebellion, and moral confusion (2 Timothy 3:1-5) – represents a profound spiritual danger.

  1. Divine Sovereignty Over Nations: Remember, God alone “changes times and seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings” (Daniel 2:21). National progress is not found in conforming to fleeting, ungodly global trends (“the spirit of the times”), but in aligning with His eternal laws and timing.
  2. Consequences of Moral Decline: History and Scripture are clear: nations that abandon God’s foundational principles for idolatry (including the idolatry of self and immoral practices) invite judgment and set themselves on a path to collapse (Deuteronomy 28; examples: Israel, Egypt, Babylon). Importing ideologies contrary to righteousness jeopardizes national stability and invites divine disfavour.
  3. The Peril of the “Spirit of the Age”: The BIBLE New Testament explicitly identifies the “course of this world” and its deceptive spirits (1 Timothy 4:1) as perilous (2 Timothy 3:1-5). Encouraging or allowing the normalization of such imported mentalities accelerates spiritual decline and societal turmoil, aligning with end-time warnings (Matthew 24:12).
  4. The Call to Righteousness: National blessing and security are intrinsically linked to upholding justice, integrity, and godly principles (Deuteronomy 28:1-14). The government holds a unique responsibility to protect the nation’s moral fabric from corrosive foreign influences that undermine these foundations.
  5. Urgent Counsel: We urge you to exercise profound caution and discernment. Resist the pressure to conform to destructive global trends. Prioritize policies and cultural protections that reflect timeless biblical wisdom concerning righteousness, family, and human dignity. The future flourishing and destiny of the nation depend on obedience to God’s eternal laws, not the imported “spirit of the times.”

In essence: Guard the nation’s soul. Reject ideologies that embody rebellion against God. Uphold righteousness, for therein lies true national security and the hope of divine blessing. History’s witness and God’s Word are clear on the consequences of neglecting this sacred duty.
