KOMNET Campmeeting 2026 Unfolds with Great Expectations
The stage is set for the 2026 annual camp meeting of the Koinonia Ministerial Network (KOMNET), scheduled to hold March 1-4 with great expectations from participants drawn from all walks of life.
KOMNET is an inter-ministerial fellowship of Christian leaders committed to strengthening ministers and fostering unity within the Body of Christ. It brings together pastors, apostles, prophets, evangelists, teachers, and marketplace ministers through fellowship, networking, mutual support, and shared resources.
The network’s core purpose is apostolic connection, cooperation, and collaboration for the common good and the advancement of individual ministers and their ministries. Its activities are grounded in Ephesians 4:11 principles, aiming to build strong, collaborative relationships among gospel ministers while supporting them spiritually and professionally.
According to its official objectives, KOMNET seeks to:
1.Unite ministers through fellowship, encouragement, and inspiration;
2.Promote the welfare of members and their ministries;
3.Empower ministers through seminars, workshops, meetings, and joint programs;
4.Provide a common platform and apostolic covering for ministers of the gospel;
5.Offer national and international networking opportunities to help members realize their full potential.
Apostle Tony Olukoyede serves as the International President (Convener/Lead Facilitator) of KOMNET. He is also the Senior Pastor of His Purpose Church and President of Purpose Power International.
Under his leadership, KOMNET has grown to include well over 1,000 gospel ministers across Nigeria and beyond. The network organizes conferences, prayer retreats, seminars, and periodic meetings designed for ministerial growth and encouragement. It provides fellowship and networking platforms where ministers connect and support one another.
Beyond internal church matters, KOMNET has taken public positions on national issues, advocating for peace and encouraging responsible social engagement among Christians in Nigeria.
KOMNET strongly emphasizes unity among ministers, seeking to address disunity and doctrinal laxity by encouraging order, biblical grounding, and cooperative fellowship across ministries and denominations.
Ahead of the 2026 camp meeting, some notable members of the international ministerial network shared with Christian Benefits the impact of KOMNET on their ministries and their expectations for this year’s gathering.
Pastor Dare Omole, Senior Pastor of Covenant Life Christian Church, Ikotun, Lagos, who joined KOMNET in April 2009, described the network as a purely spiritual body of gospel ministers with an unwavering focus on God’s Kingdom and healthy ministerial relationships
Omole who is also the chairman of Lagos chapter of KOMNET explains that, “KOMNET, under the apostolic leadership of the International President, Apostle Tony Olukoyede, is purely a spiritual body of gospel ministers with an unwavering focus on God’s Kingdom and fostering healthy relationships among ministers and the Body of Christ at large. This has tremendously impacted my life and ministry in no small way.”
On the impact of the network on him and his ministry, Omole testified: “In line with Proverbs 27:17, my membership has given me the opportunity for healthy interaction with other gospel ministers across Nigeria and beyond, with obvious positive impacts on my ministry.”
He recalled that past camp meetings, which attracted both local and international delegates, left lasting memories of spiritual refreshment and impartation.
Speaking on his expectations from this year’s edition themed “Greater Works,” he added: “This year’s edition promises to be of even greater impact, and we trust God for an outpouring of His Spirit like never before.”
Bishop Benson Ashiedu, Presiding Bishop and Apostolic Overseer of Dominion People Apostolic Ministry, Igando, Lagos, disclosed that he has been a member of KOMNET since 2002.
Sharing his experience, he said: “KOMNET has been very inspiring and of great benefit to me and my ministry. I have been effectively intimated with Kingdom matters — learning how to relate more actively with other members of the Kingdom from different churches and to defend the faith in society and the world at large. I have experienced refreshing times of spiritual upliftment and encouragement and have benefited immensely from the fivefold ministries in the Body of Christ.”
Reflecting on past camp meetings, the bishop noted that: “Past KOMNET camp meetings have been rewarding and impactful, giving direction and courage to pursue the call. They also provided opportunities for international exposure. The ministry has become stronger and more established. We give thanks to the Lord. This 2026 edition is expected to take us to the next level of ministry and deeper exposure to the ocean of Greater Works.”
As anticipation builds, participants look forward to another season of apostolic impartation, renewed fellowship, and spiritual empowerment at KOMNET Campmeeting 2026.
