Prophet Dr. Moses Orogojimo, the General Overseer of Divine Call Power Bible Church talks on the Destiny Mandate of his commission, which he said is aimed at helping people fulfill, recover and rebuild destiny. In this interview with Christian Benefits on “Destiny” he explains how people can fulfill destiny, reveals why many people die without fulfilling destiny and how people can rebuild altered destiny. He also shares the impact of the church’s Destiny Rebuilding Prayer Camp in the lives of people from all walks of life. Excerpts
To start with, how will you describe God’s move in your church so far in this outgoing year 2025?
God’s ways are unpredictable; slow yet the fastest. God’s moves and power can’t be revealed with microscope. God’s has made several awesome moves at Divine Call Power Bible Church this outgoing year 2025. As we are planning for the next year 2026, He’still doing awesome things in the ministry and till the end of the year. I pray, we don’t lose hope and focus on what God is still doing in this outgoing year. We should remain grateful whether things come to pass or not. I stay calm, quiet, and relaxed, trusting Him for each day. Recently, I preached “Healing the Wound; “a message combining many issues. Understanding God’s Word requires understanding God Himself that He’s unchangeable and that He can’t be forced against His will and purpose for us. Persaonally, this year God taught me to wait on Him.
You are an exponent, teacher and prophet on Destiny. Please, share with us this aspect of your ministry
Destiny is a special assignment of my ministry. God has sent me to heal and build the destiny of people with my spiritual giftings of healing, prophecy, prayer and the word of God; to lead or enable people to fulfill their destinies against all odds and the battles of life.
What’s destiny from your perspective?
Destiny is a divine purpose or assigment on earth. Everyone is born with peculiar assignments or purposes on earth. Unfortunately, many peope, including Christians are not fulfilling destiny (the purpose for which God created them, or the purpose for which they were born). That is a bitter truth. Christians have the power to uncover and fuflfill their destiny. Unfortunately, only few prophets can aid or help people fulfill their destiny. Only few prophets can patiently wait on the Lord enough to lead or enable people fulfill their destiny.
How can people discover or identify their destiny?
There are three major ways through which people can discover or identify their destiny. One is through their parents consulting prophets at their birth to inquire about their future. In the past; even in some places till now many parents at the birth of their new child consult oracle priests (babalawo; traditional priests) to inquire what Yoruba call, akosejaye (destiny) of their new baby. Today, Christianity dismisses that method of inquiry (akosejaye) as ungodly despite that it actually helps in foretalling a child’s destiny. Yet, many Christians do not follow the Christian method of inquiring from trusted prophets the akosejare (destiny) of their new birth. Genuine prophets access God’s voice directly to reveal innermost secrets. Traditional method,using objects, involves spirits. It is not direct connection with God. Many aren’t fulfilling destiny because they were never directed. The devil targets destinies from becoming reality. The second way people can discover or identify their destiny is through intensive prayers. This is where people whose parents didn’t consult either a traditional oracle priest (babalawo) or a true prophet of God to inquire about their akosejaye (destiny) at birth. Our church’s Destiny RebuIlding Prayer camp is very helpful to such people to discover, identify or rebuild their destiny through our intensive prayer programmes at the prayer camp. The third is through powerful prophetic ministrations, impartation, declarations and deliverance at prophetic churches.
What’s the difference between destiny and glory?
There is no glory without destiny. Destiny is the foundation or the basement of glory. Glory results from a fulfilled destiny. Destiny is spiritual but requires hard work to manifest in glory. No destiny, no glory! Every human being is born with destiny to manisfest in glory.
Can destiny be swapped, changed, or stopped?
Destiny cannot be swapped, changed, or stopped but it can be delayed or altered. If this is not addressed, delay leads to expiration.
What can Christians, or people generally do to prevent destiny delay
They must engage in serious and intensive fasting and prayers. The weightier the destiny, the more critical the prayers. Don’t let go of God despite mistakes. Find a genuine prophet of God to guide you. Focus on self-development.
How accessible are you to people seeking to discover or identify their destiny?
I’m very acccessible during the fasting and prayer programmes of all our church branches and at our Destiny Rebuilding Prayer Camp for impartations at our evening crusades, family lineage programme, mega service and annual Shekinah Glory convention. The impact of this year’s 2025 Shekinah Glory was incomparably glorious. The name, Shekinah, came on the church’s 1st year anniversary. The Lord told me to check the Bible for its confirmation. I did, and confirmed it. People from all walks of life identify their destiny in all our programmes.
As a prophet, do you have some climpses of likely events in the coming new year 2026?
God says 2026 will be tougher. Whoever is not praying now ahead of 2026 will face severe troubles in the year. It will be narrow and harrowing experiences going from 2026 into 2027 because of 2027 general political elections in the country. From January 2nd-30th, 2026 we will hold 30 days fasting and prayers at Destiny Rebuilding Prayer campground to secure the new year 2026.
What is the ongoing programme of the church, Exodus Night, from December 15th -21st all about?
Exodus Night is our yearly breakthrough programme into another year. It’s five days crossover prayer vigil preparation into the new year. On the Friday night we will pray with honey for healing of diverse diseases. From that same Friday night till Sunday December 21st, we will release the prophecies for the coming new year 2026.
If Christ tarries, what should people expect at Divine Call Power Bible Church next year 2026?
People should expect more prophetic revelations, destinies fulfilling and restorations, miracles, signs and wonders and lots more.
