As Divine Call Power Bible Ministries holds her Shekinah Glory Convention 2025/11th Anniversary celeberation October 22-26, 2025, the general overseer, Prophet Dr. Moses Orogojimo, shares with Christian Benefits magazine how God turned around the shame of the church into a city after many attempts at closing down the prophetic church due to all manners of setbacks, criticisms and challenges. Excerpts.

Shekinah Glory Convention 2025/11th anniversary of Divine Call Power Bible Ministries holds October 22 -26, 2025. Please, share with us the church’s testimonies between last year’s and this year conventions.

We have recorded quite a number of awesome testimonies after last year’s Shekinah Glory convention. Aside the testimonies of salvation of more souls into the church and the spiritual fruitfulness, imparation, growth and maturity of our members in all our branches, God also built us a city as our campground from the ashes of the shames of our past setbacks and numerous challenges.

Please, tell us more about the fast developing campground of the church, Destinies Rebuilt Prayer Camp.

I’m a person who doesn’t like publicity in spite that God has blessed and increased us. God has built for us a prayer city called Destinies Rebuilt Prayer Camp. Massive construction works, including chalets, are still going on at the camp. I don’t like making noise about the things God does for us until the fullness of time. I don’t want to be seen as competing with others. God proclaims by himself what he does for us. The things we do are on our Facebook account. There are persons who are not on social media but are doing far greater works.

What was the recent Family Lineage prayer camp 2025 held at the Destinies Rebuilt prayer camp all about?

The programme was targeted at addressing family issues. About 20 years ago in my early years in ministry, God spoke to me about the essence of my ministry. Part of it is to impact destinies. The programme was birthed out of the need to address various family issues. The family is the bedrock for the issues in the society. It is a family deliverance service that the church has been running for about 20 years.

What is your stance on the belief that certain problems are peculiar to most firstborn in the family?

It is not fully correct but there are some truth in it. For instance, from the Biblical perspective firstborns like Cain, Canaan, Esau, Ishmael, and others all had their struggles. Every first usually has some struggles. As the first Christian in my family lineage I had my battles.  It takes intentional prayers to win such battles. In the kingdom of light as well there are oppositions that every first contends with.

What birthed the yearly Shekinah Glory Convention of Divine Call Power Bible Ministries?

Many years ago between1998-1999, God took me through Exodus 23 and began speaking to me about His glory. So, he instructed to celebrate his glory every year. So, the yearly Shekinah Glory convention of Divine Call Power Ministries is all about celebrating the glory, the wonders and the moves of God in our church.

Share with us some testimonies from this yearly meeting since its inception.

There are many testimonies of the fruit of the womb, healing of diverse illness and diseases including a Down syndrome; salvation of several souls unto the Lord, spiritual impartation and growth and several testimonies of great miracles, signs and wonders. We also hold crusades where countless testimonies are birthed. All the glory belongs to God.

Why do you alway avoid publicizing or talking about the miracles, signs and wonders wrought in your church?

It is because I’m not the miracle worker. God is the miracle worker. And He alone we publicize and talk about at Divine Call Power Bible Ministries. A ministry’s announcement is not based on miracles. According to the scripture, different gifts are given to different people.

What should people expect from this year’s Shekinah Glory Convention 2025?

They should expect to meet God with faith; believing they won’t return home the same way they came. This year’s convention will hold at our church headquarters. By the grace of God it will hold at our Destinies Rebuilt Prayer Camp next year 2026.

From every November you start releasing prophecies for the next coming New Year. Have you received some signals from God of some of the events that will happen in the coming New Year 2026?

Yes, I have been receiving some divine signals that 2026 will be tough. The 2027 electioneering campaigns from 2026 will be a tough battle. If care is not taken, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu may retain the seat of the country’s presidency in 2027. Nigeria needs a vibrant opposition that can speak seriously and frankly to the government of the day. Nigerians need a President who has the best interest of the nation at heart. Unfortunately, as it were now, it is only God that can take President Tinubu out of the seat of governance in 2027. He has good plans for the nation but fulfilling them is quite challenging.

What should Nigerians expect economically in the coming New Year 2026?

Nigeria is growing but groaning at the same time. Many people are struggling to survive the government taxes. The citizens will go through more economic struggles in 2026.

How were you able to build and run a thriving church in a place like this (Giwa Oke Aro), Ogun state?

It’s God and our obedience to his instructions. I’m not perfect but I strive to obey him. I had attempted closing down the church many times, but the Lord encouraged me to stay here; always reminding me that He is with me here. I have faced a lot of criticisms, shames, lies and condemnations. Sometimes, we see ritual sacrifices placed in front of the church. In the midst of all, God has been faithful to us.

Having you been at the verge of giving up the ministry at some points and what keeps you going?

Like I said earlier, I had attempted closing down the church many times, but the grace of God keeps us going. I thank God for surrounding me with faithful, loyal and committed people working with me. Sometimes, we have misunderstandings but when it comes to work, we put aside our differences. We do the work of God faithfully and address the issues later. I can’t remunerate my staff enough for their selfless commitment and services in the work of God. I’m bountifully grateful to them all. Ministry work is very tasking. Every minister must be sure that his calling is certain, and is based on the truth. The truth should be based on the word of God. Miracles come and go but the word of God lives forever. Miracle is only an attachment. The word of God is established. Sometimes people are faced with the issue of misplaced priorities. There were times I sold off my properties or possessions and invested the proceeds on the church to create more impacts. At some points we sold all the church vehicles and invested the proceeds on building the church. We had to borrow a car to continue the work until a miracle of another car came forth. Ministry is not a bed of roses. It is too expensive to be flamboyant about.
