Pastor Olalere Oyetola, the Senior Pastor of The Lamb Miracle Church, Idimu, Lagos, is vying for the Chairmanship of Egbe-Idimu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Pastor Oyetola, a prominent church leader in the Egbe-Idimu axis of Lagos State told Christian Benefits that his foray into politics was an extension of his calling by God to bring salvation, hope, deliverance and solution to people. He said having served in God’s vineyard as pastor at Egbe-Idimu for about 20 years he knows the needs of the residents of that area and he is prepared to meet their needs if he was elected as the chairman of the LCDA in the forthcoming local government elections in Lagos State.

“I’m Pastor Olalere Oyetola, the Senior Pastor of The Lamb Miracle Church, Idimu, Lagos. God assigned me a ministry from Jeremiah 4 to deliver people who have lost all hope on their problems. We started with a monthly vigil programme in December 2006. One of the foremost miracles recorded during the programme was a woman that was delivered by God from perennial premature births at every six months of her pregnancies. One major testimony that announced our ministry globally was a young girl called Roseline who was delivered from a swollen belly of several years. By 2008 God spoke to me to establish a ministry and groom End-time and heaven bound believers. I am a prophet by calling. In addition God also gave me the gifts of healing and deliverance.

“My coming into politics is an extension of my calling by God to bring salvation, hope, deliverance and solution to people. I began to serve the Lord as Pastor in Egbe-Idimu since 2006. I have lived most part of my life in Egbe-Idimu axis before I started my ministry in Idimu. So, I know the needs and the problems of the residents of this area. By the grace of God if I’m elected as the next Chairman of Egbe-Idimu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming local government elections in Lagos state, I will serve our people to meet their needs and solve their problems,” Oyetola promised.

Since Oyetola declared his aspiration to contest Egbe-Idimu LCDA chairmanship election, he has been receiving the support and goodwill of prominent Christian leaders and churches of all the denominations in Egbe-Idimu LCDA. Recently Bishop Samuel Ogedengbe, the former Special Adviser (Christian Religion matters) to a former governor of Lagos state, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) rallied the support of all Christian leaders and churches in Egbe-Idimu LCDA for Oyelere in his bid for the chairmanship election of Egbe-Idimu LCDA. Bishop Ogedengbe, who is also the President of All Christian Leaders Forum, endorsed Oyetola’s aspiration for Egbe-Idimu LCDA chairmanship.

Mr. Wole Sanusi, a prominent youth mobilizer in Egbe-Idimu described Pastor Oyetola as a simple, honest and humble man of God worthy of becoming the next chairman of Egbe-Idimu LCDA. “I have known Pastor Oyetola for many years. He is a very simple, honest and humble man of God. I was excited when I heard he wants to contest the chairmanship of Egbe-Idimu LCDA because he is worthy of becoming our next LCDA chairman. Despite that he is a pastor he relates very well with everyone irrespective of religion, status or social standing. I’m confident that the youths in Egbe-Idimu will support him to win the Egbe-Idimu LCDA chairmanship election,” Sansui assured.
