We are honoured to celebrate your impact and contribution to Nigeria, the Church and society.\u201d<br>Adesina, a veteran journalist, served as Special Adviser to former President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, following a distinguished career in journalism and media management.<br>The Benefits Awards for Missionary Excellence, popularly known as BAME, has been presented annually since its inception in 2004 to honour individuals and organisations whose lives, service and contributions have made significant impact in the Church and society.<br>The awards cover seven categories:<br>Christian Service<br>Christian Mission<br>Christian Music<br>Christian Drama<br>Christian Literature<br>Christian Entrepreneurship<br>Christian Media<br>According to Dr. Olarinde, BAME has over the years celebrated distinguished personalities whose contributions have advanced Christian values, ministry, leadership, evangelism, media, humanitarian service and the propagation of the Gospel.<br>The 2026 BAME Awards will form part of the Christian Benefits 2026 Annual Celebration, bringing together Christian leaders, ministers, professionals and other stakeholders.<br>Olarinde disclosed that the celebration will provide an opportunity to honour outstanding Christian service while encouraging greater commitment to faith, integrity, excellence and service to humanity.<br>The nomination of Adesina also highlights the important role of Christian professionals in public life, particularly those whose work and public engagements provide opportunities to demonstrate Christian values and Christian witness.<br>Dr. Wole Olarinde congratulated Mr. Femi Adesina on his nomination and expressed appreciation for his years of service to Nigeria, the Church and society.<br>The 2026 BAME programme will feature further recognition of distinguished individuals across the seven award categories.
