He shares more in this interview with Christian Benefits in which he also posits that true evangelism should meet both spiritual and physical needs. Excerpts:

How would you like to be introduced?

Ambassador Fredrick Obozuwa, President of The Ambassador’s Room of Prayer Ministry, also known as War Room.

Kindly share a brief background about yourself, including your salvation encounter.

I am from Edo State, specifically Agenebode in Etsako East. I was born and raised in Kano State, Northern Nigeria, which gave me the privilege of understanding, speaking, and writing the Hausa language fluently.

I had my salvation encounter in 1998 at Deeper Life Bible Church in Zaria, Kaduna State. Over the years, I have worked with several ministries, including Christ Embassy, CAC, Omega Fire Ministry, and currently Christ Evangelism and Prayer Ministry (CEPM), where I serve as an evangelist. Throughout my journey, I have consistently functioned in the office of an evangelist.

Please tell us how you received the call to ministry, as well as the specific vision and mandate of your ministry.

On August 8, 2016, under the guidance of Apostle Johnson Suleman, founder of Omega Fire Ministry, the Lord spoke to me that He would give me a ministry without walls. He revealed that I would be a tele-evangelist and showed me a phone, instructing me to use it to bring people to the throne of grace.

That same day, while I was praying and watching the movie War Room, the Lord told me that the title of the movie would become the name of my online ministry. He revealed that people would come with their battles and receive deliverance.

On August 12, 2016, a WhatsApp group was created, and prayers began. This later grew into a network that connected us to ACBN TV in Lagos, Nigeria. In 2019, War Room expanded to Facebook and YouTube, where it has gained a remarkable following.

Our mandate is to pray, give, and restore hope to people regardless of their religion.

Our vision is to reach the unreached, impact the downcast, and ensure that help is never far from the needy.

What informed your decision to focus on online ministry instead of the conventional church setting?

My ministry is without walls, designed to reach people through digital devices. As an evangelist, I travel across different parts of the world, impacting lives physically while also maintaining a strong online presence.

I have ministered in the Middle East, Qatar, and the United States. specifically in Atlanta, Georgia, and New York City. Being a tele-evangelist allows me to reach people far beyond the limitations of a physical building.

Tell us about the regular programmes of your online ministry, and share some testimonies from these programmes.

Our regular programmes include:

First 7 days of every month: Monthly Prayers (8:00 PM)

Wednesdays & Thursdays: Ebenezer Hour – Hour of Solution (1:00 PM)

Fridays: Family Deliverance Programme (8:00 PM)

Sundays: In the Cool of the Evening (8:00 PM)

Venue: Facebook and YouTube

Handle: The Ambassador’s Room of Prayer Ministry

Testimonies include the restoration of life to a dead child, visa approvals, successful job interviews, and numerous healings.

From your experience in this unique ministry, how impactful is online ministry compared to traditional church ministry? Also, what are some of the challenges, and how do you handle them?

Online ministry offers wider reach, greater accessibility, and consistent engagement in people’s lives. Our online ministry is as Impactful as Conventional Church ministry

One major challenge is maintaining consistency. We address this by having fixed days and times for our programmes. Consistency is not about constant motivation but about building reliable systems.

Another challenge is spiritual pressure, which we manage by taking necessary rest when needed. It is important to understand that rest is part of sustainability.

Your ministry is also involved in social responsibility, particularly through Bread Evangelism outreach. What inspired this initiative, and how often do you carry it out?

The inspiration comes from Psalm 41:1: “Blessed is he that considers the poor.” During one outreach, I encountered a group of young men (commonly referred to as “area boys,” now called “Jesus boys”) who said they were too hungry to listen to preaching unless they were first given food. This led us to begin food distribution in 2021, initially sharing rice. On December 25, 2024, we were led to begin sharing bread instead, and we have continued since then.

Taking a cue from Jesus Christ, who fed 5,000 people after ministering to them I believe that true evangelism should meet both spiritual and physical needs.

Can you tell us about the reach and impact of your ministry both locally and internationally?

Wherever I go, my focus is to make an impact. The ministry has reached people across Lagos, other parts of Nigeria, and internationally, including the Middle East, Qatar, and the United States.

How would you describe the impact of your ministry so far in 2026, and what more should we expect before the end of the year?

In 2026, we have remained consistent in bread evangelism, monthly support for widows, and payment of school fees for children.

Before the end of the year, we will continue these initiatives and remain committed to positively impacting lives.

Finally, if Christ tarries, do you have plans to transition the ministry into a fully established church?

No. I have a specific assignment and remain committed to it.

Ambassador Fredrick Obozuwa, President of one of Nigeria’s leading Christian online ministries with a global presence across Nigeria, the Middle East, Qatar, and the United States of America, explains that the mandate of the ministry, The Ambassador’s Room of Prayer Ministry, also known as War Room, is to spread the gospel of hope across the […]

[2

post-4402","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-ministry
["GET
