Bishop Gift Peters, International President of the Berakah Ministers Fellowship (BMF), has expressed deep concerns for struggling ministers of the Gospel. He made this known in a chat with Christian Benefits Magazine ahead of the forthcoming convention of the Berakah Women Fellowship (BWF), the women\u2019s arm of the international network on Saturday May 23, 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bishop disclosed that his present commitment is to provide platforms, both locally and globally, that will enable ministers of God to find fulfillment in their respective callings, with comfort and hope for the future, especially in old age or at retirement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to him, every true and hardworking minister of God deserves structured retirement benefits to secure their future when age or declining strength no longer permits active service in ministry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt is worrisome to see ministers of God, especially the hardworking ones, struggling in ministry without hope for the future. Every deserving minister of God should have access to retirement benefits that guarantee dignity and stability after years of faithful service. The younger ministers, too, do not deserve to struggle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Generally, I am committed to providing platforms, both locally and globally, for ministers of God to be fulfilled in their respective ministries. That is the vision and mission of the Berakah Ministers Fellowship (BMF),\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The amiable Bishop emphasized that ministry should not end in uncertainty and hardship, but in honor, security, and fulfillment\u2014reflecting the value of lifelong dedication to God\u2019s work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ahead of the convention of its women’s wing, the Berakah Women Fellowship (BWF) scheduled for Sunday, February 22, 2026, in Lagos, their President and some other members of the fellowship, shared their experiences and the benefits of belonging to the global network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘I’m a missionary evangelist linked to the visions of both the Berakah Ministries Fellowship (BMF) and its women’s wing, the Berakah Women Fellowship (BMF) of which I’m the President. The Berakah Women Fellowship (BWF) Incorporated, raises ministers from different churches and homes, coming together with a stronger vision,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She shared that she was born into a Christian family and raised by devoted parents who were strong followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. \u201cI grew up in church. I didn\u2019t really understand the concept of repentance because I found myself already in the faith and grew in it. Along the line, God led me into the hands of a man of God. I can say I am one of the luckiest women on earth,\u201d she stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She explained that the BMF, founded by Bishop Gift Peters, extended its vision to include women. \u201cEven in Jesus\u2019 ministry, He started with the women to demonstrate the effectiveness of His work. Berakah Women Fellowship is about bringing women together, building them in Christ from different denominations, and working toward a better position as godly women\u2014extending the teachings of Christ to our homes, communities, and nation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Missionary Evangelist Phillomia Williams noted that the mission of the fellowship is to strengthen one another, in line with the Scripture, \u2018Iron sharpeneth iron.\u2019 According to her, members move from ministry to ministry to fellowship and offer support. \u201cOur visionary President, Bishop Gift Peters wants to impact strength into young ministers so that we grow stronger together. We sharpen one another. We grow, we expand, and our unity stands sure.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the convention, the BWF President assured that the Berakah Women Fellowship (BWF) Convention is going to be great. “We expect praise that will bring heaven down. Everyone is invited, and they should expect miracles and rejoicing. Heaven is sure for us. The only requirement for membership is your time and commitment\u2014you must be ready to serve when called upon,\u201d she explained<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rev. Mrs. Peter Agbo \u2013 Vice President, the Berakah Women Fellowship (BWF)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rev. Mrs. Peter Agbo, the Vice President of the BWF, described her role as standing in the gap for her president and fellow sister. Missionary Evangelist Phillomia Williams whenever necessary. She said the fellowship\u2019s uniqueness lies in its unity. \u201cThe Bible says how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity. We didn\u2019t know one another before, but the fellowship united us in love. Bishop Gift Peters brought us under one umbrella, and through that we now evangelize together and share love to the glory of God.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to her, Jesus Christ is the secret behind the love and unity among BWF members. \u201cI believe God will take us from where we started to where He wants us to be. Once you join this fellowship, we carry ourselves together.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She also emphasized balance in family life, noting that most meetings are held online at convenient times, often around 9 p.m., allowing members to balance family and fellowship commitments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the forthcoming convention, the BWF Vice-President said:\u201cI want God to manifest in His fullness, because where He is, there is fullness of joy. This will be our first major meeting after the inauguration of BWF, and I am glad to be part of this fellowship.\u201d she enthused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mrs. Olufolake Taiwo \u2013 Prayer Coordinator, the<\/strong> Berakah Women Fellowship (BWF)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mrs. Olufolake Taiwo, wife of the Founder and General Overseer of Elshadai Gospel Church, Lagos, has been a BWF member for nearly two years and currently serves as the Prayer Coordinator. \u201cOur prayers are centered on unity, growth, and strengthening our leaders so that the vision does not die,\u201d she explained. Echoing other members, she affirmed that Jesus Christ is the secret behind the visible love and unity in the fellowship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe cannot fully explain it outside the grace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ,\u201d she stressed, and described Bishop Gift Peters and his wife as a wonderful couple, recalling her first encounter with him when he ministered at their church. \u201cWhen he stepped on the podium, everything changed. It showed he is truly a man of God.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The BWF Prayer Coordinator expressed high expectations for the convention, promising that “it will be a power-packed program. God\u2019s name alone will be glorified. We are expecting a large turnout and a mighty move of His presence.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Evangelist Oba Janet \u2013 Music Director, Berakah Women Fellowship (BWF)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Evangelist Oba Janet, the BWF Music Director, shared her long-standing connection with the BMF founder, Bishop Gift Peters, having known him since her youth when he evangelized in her area and shared tracts with her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs music director, singing is not just something you do casually. You must connect with God and seek inspiration. You are not an entertainer\u2014you are to win souls. That requires a deep connection with Him,\u201d she said. For the convention, she trusts God for inspired songs that will bring divine encounters. \u201cThere are songs that connect everyone to God. I am praying for such songs\u2014where there will be an outburst of miracles. The convention will hold on Saturday May 23rd 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deaconess Blessing Martins\u2013 Secretary, the Berakah Ministers Fellowship (BMF) & the Berakah Women Fellowship (BWF)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deaconess Blessing Martins serves as Secretary of both the BMF and the BWF and is a member of Global Evangelism Mandate Churches under the leadership and general overseer of Bishop Gift Peters. She serves in one of the branches in Ikorodu, Lagos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs secretary, I document proceedings and help organize meetings with my leaders. We collaborate before fixing meetings and often choose weekends by 9 p.m. when members are less busy,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She attributed the unity within the fellowship to God\u2019s backing and the visionary leadership of Bishop Gift Peters. \u201cHe energizes us with the support of the Holy Spirit. In the next five years, I see both BMF and BWF spread across the globe, filled with young men and women with zeal for God.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sharing her personal journey, Deaconess Blessing Martins noted that her parents were nominal Christians, and she resolved to live differently. Mentored by a pastor of New Jerusalem Pentecostal Assembly (now late), she began ministry early and has been privileged to speak and serve faithfully over the years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
