Christian Benefits Magazine has announced nominees for the 2026 Benefits Awards for Missionary Excellence (BAME), scheduled to hold on Friday, October 30, 2026, at God’s Mercy Revival Ministries (GOMERM), Ikotun, Lagos.
The awards form part of Christian Benefits 2026 Annual Celebration, which will feature three major highlights: Celebration of Milestone; Consecration for the Next Level; the official commissioning of Heal the Church Outreach Ministry (HECO) and the Recognition of Excellence through the 2026 Benefits Awards for Missionary Excellence (BAME Awards).
BAME has been presented annually since 2004 in seven categories: Christian Service, Christian Music, Christian Drama, Christian Literature, Christian Entrepreneurship, Christian Humanitarianism (Charity), and Christian Mission. More than 100 individuals and orgnisations have received the awards across the categories over the years.

These distinguished recipients form part of the broader community of more than 100 BAME awardees honoured over the years for their contributions to Christian ministry, leadership, evangelism, enterprise, humanitarian service and the propagation of the Gospel.
Dr. Sam Oyemade, President of Bearers of Light World Outreach, will be the Guest Speaker at the 2026 celebration. He will speak on the theme: “Restoring the Church’s Original Purpose.”
The organisers said the event will celebrate outstanding Christian service while marking a new phase of kingdom impact through the commissioning of Heal the Church Outreach Ministry (HECO); an initiative focused on pointing believers back to Christ through repentance, biblical teaching, holy living, prayer and the restoration of the Church’s purpose.
