God’s Mercy Revival Ministries (GOMERM) is set to host its annual Building the Builders International Ministers’ Conference in Lagos from Tuesday, August 11, to Friday, August 14, 2026, bringing together ministers and Christian leaders for four days of spiritual renewal, ministry development and capacity building.
The conference will hold at Mercy Revival Center, 25/33 Alake Lakonko Street, off Ile-Epo Bus Stop, Idimu-Ikotun Road, Ikotun, Lagos, beginning daily at 10:30 a.m.
With the theme “Minister, Message, Ministry (MMM): Honing the Man and the Tool for Impactful Results,” the conference is designed to equip ministers with the spiritual and practical tools required to fulfil their calling and achieve impactful results in ministry.
The conference is being convened by Dr James Akanbi, with a line-up of experienced ministers and Christian leaders as guest speakers, including Pastor J.F. Odesola, Rev. Samson Ajetunmobi, Rev. David Amosun, Dr Oluwabukola Oluwagbenga, Rev. Albert O. Aina, and Bishop Joseph Akintunde.
Beyond the spiritual and leadership sessions, the organisers said the conference will also provide a platform for practical intervention in the lives and ministries of some ministers facing financial difficulties.
As part of the initiative, GOMERM plans to financially support and help recover some ministers and ministries struggling to meet the financial needs of their ministries. The intervention is aimed at providing relief and renewed capacity for selected ministers whose financial challenges may have hindered the effective pursuit of their ministry assignments.

The organisers explained that the initiative reflects the broader vision of Building the Builders—strengthening those who have been called to build others. According to them, ministers require not only spiritual nourishment and knowledge but also encouragement, capacity and, where necessary, practical support to continue their work effectively.
The conference will also feature sessions focused on ministry development, leadership, the minister’s personal life, effective communication of the Christian message and strategies for producing sustainable results in ministry.
The Building the Builders Conference is part of a broader programme at Mercy Revival Center, which will also host ZION 2026 Annual Power Conference from August 10 to 16, under the theme “Commanding Realms of Possibilities: Accessing the Depth and Heights of Divine Possibilities.”
ZION 2026 will feature ministers including Pastor John Oluwadare, Rev. Samson Ajetunmobi, Pastor J.F. Odesola and Rev. David Amosun, alongside guest artistes, with Dr and Pastor Mrs James Akanbi as hosts.
The organisers are inviting pastors, church leaders, ministers, ministry workers and Christian leaders across Nigeria and beyond to participate in the programmes.
