The Nigerian-American Social Entrepreneurs Forum (NASEF) has announced its official relaunch, with stakeholders from Nigeria and the United States expected to converge in Lagos on June 27, 2026, for a landmark gathering aimed at fostering social entrepreneurship, innovation, and enterprise-driven development.

The event, themed “Rebuilding Bridges, Redefining Impact, Reigniting Enterprise for Global Good,” will hold at CILA Lagos, 635 Akin Adesola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

According to the organisers, NASEF was originally launched in Lagos on December 3, 2021, and is now being repositioned to deepen Nigeria–U.S. collaboration in social entrepreneurship and sustainable development. The initiative is promoted by the KOGA Faith Foundation and powered in Nigeria by SESS Africa.

Speaking on the significance of the relaunch, the President General of KOGA Faith Foundation, Dr. Priscilla Joseph-Otuya, said the forum is designed to connect diaspora stakeholders, innovators, investors, development partners, and social entrepreneurs committed to creating positive societal impact.

Highlights of the event include the official relaunch of NASEF, inauguration of officers, a Nigeria–USA international engagement session, presentations and media briefings on social enterprise impact, and networking opportunities aimed at fostering strategic partnerships.

The programme will also feature the dedication of NEWS Nigeria USA International, described as the official media channel of NASEF, as well as a special birthday celebration in honour of Ambassador (Dr.) Henry Emeka Obidi.

Several distinguished personalities are expected to participate in the event, including Dr. Henry Emeka Obidi, NASEF Minister of Arts and Communication; Barr. NENE Kalu-Umuagha, President of African Women Professionals; Evangelist Chiji Joseph Nwosu, National General Overseer of United Gospel Churches of African Nations; Wole Olarinde, Publisher of Christian Benefits Magazine; Ms. Gloria Irene Izugwu, CEO of Admin Pro; Emeka Williams, Publisher of Times Watch Magazine; and Tera Anyagafu, columnist with Vanguard Newspaper and Consular Hub.

Organisers said the forum is targeted at social entrepreneurs, investors, diaspora professionals, government stakeholders, faith-based organisations, NGOs, youth and women leaders, and media partners.

They expressed optimism that the relaunch would serve as a renewed platform for collaboration, innovation, and enterprise for global good, while strengthening ties between Nigeria and the United States for sustainable socio-economic impact.
