My father happens to be a prophet of God; God called him and established his church in 1948, so we were born into ministry. Before I was born, there were many prophecies that a boy would be born into that family and he would be a global prophet of God, which came to pass in the year 2000 when God gave me an instruction to open a church, although I had been ordained as an Evangelist way back in 1988 at Ado Ekiti at Evangelistic Gospel Church. It was my brother, Prophet Ojo Peters, and I in August, and since then we have been in ministry. In 1988, God gave me the mandate to start the ministry in Lagos.
WHAT’S THE SPECIFIC MANDATE THAT THE LORD GAVE TO YOU? To establish the church, to deliver, and to see secret things through the Holy Spirit through visions. When you are in a problem, if you don’t know the root, you’d be fighting without knowing the source, but through the Holy Spirit, God will reveal. So God has used me in that area, and God has used me all over Nigeria: Abuja, Ekiti, Ibadan, Oshogbo, and also all over the world like London, America, Canada, and Iceland.
SO WHAT ARE SOME OF THE GIFTS THE LORD ENDOWED YOU WITH? One of them is healing through the name of Jesus. Then the gift of Vision, and God gave me the ability to discern. I use the discerning spirit in revivals, and God mentions cases.
WHAT ARE SOME OF THE CHURCH PROGRAMS THAT GOD IMPACTS LIVES? Night of Solution, Lesekese, which is a program established about 24 years ago. We always had a program in the evening that we called Deliverance Evening. Our church was known as Holy Ghost Church, and there was a particular day when the Lord told me to shift the evening program to morning. I was concerned that if people wouldn’t come in the evening, would they now come in the morning when people are going to work? But God said He wants it that way, and we had to obey. We started doing it in the morning, and the whole thing turned around for good. People who had strokes that I healed, things I didn’t expect. When those things started happening, a lot of people began to come because of the instant miracles. God tells you your problems and gives you solutions; the blind received their sight, and a mad person came and was healed. PEOPLE NOW USE YOUR NAME, LESELEKE.
WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY ABOUT IT?
I know people use the name; some use it for fraudulent acts. The real fact is that those people have misused it, and I took some to the police station to stop using it. People thought I was the one duping them. To the glory of God, we have all the documents that give us the authenticity of the name. I could leave some people, but if I tell you to drop it and you don’t, I can take you to court. They are all junior people; I don’t have issues with people using the name as long as they aren’t spoiling it. I don’t owe a particular woman. I met her at MITV; she introduced herself as Lesekese, and I didn’t have any issue.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE MOVE OF GOD AT LESEKESE? God really moved this year. The church grew, and we have branches. We had a lot of ministrations abroad and a lot of achievements, and we give glory to God.HOW MANY BRANCHES DOES THE CHURCH HAVE? We have in Abuja, Ado, Akure, Ibadan, London, and one in Dallas. The church will be 25 next year. It’s the mercy of God; we are carnally made and spiritually made. Everyone wants a prophet to be perfect, but everyone has their human nature. A pastor is human; you shouldn’t expect that I won’t fall sick. If you are a child of God, don’t go to church because of a pastor. I have errors; I’m not God. Blood and water flow.

I faced the same things in January, but you don’t have to worry about them. I got the person arrested by October; he started begging and later said that he didn’t know me. He came here and started begging. How can you scandalize people you don’t know? As a prophet, if I catch you, I’d deal with you because building a name isn’t easy; you can’t just scandalize me anyhow. Nobody can scandalize me again. The commissioner wanted to send him to prison, but people started begging. He was told to go back to TikTok to make a correction and come to the church to apologize, and he did. IF CHRIST TARRIES, WHAT SHOULD PEOPLE EXPECT IN 2026?
Nobody can say this is what God is going to do next year. We are just praying that the Lord works with us with mercy.

TO THE ISSUE OF NIGERIA, WHAT’S GOD’S MIND AND COUNSEL FOR THE COUNTRY? For anybody to be a president, it means that God knows about it. What God told me about Tinubu is that he’d continue having problems; he didn’t commit the government into God’s hands, thinking he could do it alone. I’m not perfect, but by the look of things, if people are praying for the government, not political pastors or prophets.
IF YOU MEET THE PRESIDENT ONE ON ONE, WHAT WOULD BE YOUR ADVICE? I’d tell him to go back to God; he can’t solve the problem, and it’s only God that can solve it.
WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING IN THE 2027 ELECTION? Somebody that hasn’t seen 2026 talking about 2027 is maybe being foolish.
WHO ARE THOSE YOU HAVE AS MENTORS? My father; he prayed for hours.
WHAT ARE SOME OF THE SACRIFICES YOU PAID TO BE HERE? A lot of them, like the environment where people are fighting against me both physically and spiritually, but God gave us victory. I criticized the government, and they looked for a way to discipline me, from Fashola to Ambode, but God gave us victory.
WHAT ARE SOME OF THE CHALLENGES YOU FACE IN MINISTRY AND HOW WERE YOU ABLE TO OVERCOME THEM? There’s no one that will not face challenges, but the main thing is to stand firm; if not, when problems come, you’d go to herbalists. If you don’t stand strong in the Lord, you wouldn’t know when you land in the house of a herbalist. We are going to overcome as long as we are standing with God; you cannot fight against God and win.
DURING THE FACE OF CHALLENGES, DID YOU THINK OF QUITTING? If I quit, where else would I go? Anytime I’m facing challenges, I go to God. Challenges are one of the things that make the church grow, and you must overcome them.
NIGERIANS ARE GOING THROUGH HARD TIMES, WHAT’S YOUR ADVICE OR STRATEGY? The Bible says that anyone who has his head complete and has God, no matter the price of things, it wouldn’t affect you. When I need to ask God, He raises people that would sponsor. When you have faith in God, that’s it; it wouldn’t be a problem.
HOW DO YOU MANAGE THE MINISTRY AND THE FAMILY WITHOUT ANY AFFECTING THE OTHER?
God manages both as a prophet, but there’s one thing: Jesus picked his disciples, and one said, ‘My father just died; I wouldn’t be able to follow you.’ Christ said, ‘Let the dead bury the dead.’ We will still manage our family with it.
