Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele, the shepherd of Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church, Oke Afa, Isolo, Lagos, has addressed some misconceptions about his prophecies, providing an explanation that prophecy is a spiritual warning and guidance from God, giving divine directions to people and nations in order to avert potential disasters.The primate during his recent warning to the nations presentation to journalists in Lagos, also said he was unbothered by people labeling him a political prophet. He stated that the labeling would never stop him from revealing whatever God shows to him about individuals and nations as prophecy.
“Many people condemn or dismiss my prophecies out of spiritual ignorance. Some people call me a political prophet because they are unaware of the things of the spirit. I’m not bothered by people calling me a political prophet. It will not stop me from revealing whatever God shows to me in prophecy, irrespective of what people say. I’m a prophet. From biblical times, people have not liked prophets who speak the truth as God reveals it to them. Prophecy is for warning and guidance to give direction for averting bad occurrences from happening,” he explained.
Primate Ayodele disclosed that he groans whenever God shows him potential disasters concerning individuals and nations, and throws himself into prayer and fasting, pleading with God on behalf of the concerned individuals or nations to avert such disasters. “God can give a prophecy and still stop it from happening if the needful is done. Prophecy does not mean the revealed message must compulsorily happen. Any prophecy, good or bad, can be averted if the needful is done.
“The needful is yielding to warnings with sacrifice. Sacrifice is the mother of prophecy. Sacrifice is the antidote to averting bad revelations. And the sacrifice is prayer and fasting, and sometimes with spiritual instructions. I groan in prayer and fasting for months whenever God shows me unpleasant revelations, pleading with God to avert such revelations from happening. So, whenever you see a revealed prophecy that didn’t come to pass, know that some people have paid the sacrifice. Some people have prayed and pleaded with God to avert it. Does that make that prophecy fake? No, it was real but was averted from happening with a sacrifice,” Ayodele explained.
The primate says despite his labeling as a political prophet, he does not belong to any political party or fraternize with politicians. “Some people call me APC prophet, I don’t care. Some call me PDP prophet, that doesn’t bother me. I’m neither an APC prophet nor a PDP prophet. I don’t fraternize with politicians. That is the reason I’m not a member of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN). CAN is a political organization. CAN is not spiritual at all. CAN leaders are the mouthpieces of the government and politicians. They speak for the government and politicians because of the rice, cow, and cash they collect from them during festive seasons. That is why I’m different from CAN leaders. I don’t collect any patronage from the government and politicians. Instead, I give and empower people with millions of naira annually, committed to supporting the less privileged and the vulnerable,” he disclosed
Primate Babatunde Ayodele, despite the misconceptions regarding his prophecies by some people and his label as a political prophet, shares with the journalists some of his prophecies for the year 2026 and beyond. Among other things, he explained that President Tinubu means well for Nigeria and that it will be very difficult to unseat him in 2027, except the opposition parties form a formidable alliance against his re-election. “I can tell you for free that no single political party or politician in Nigeria can remove President Bola Tinubu from office as Nigeria’s president in the 2027 election. In fairness, President Tinubu means well for Nigeria. Unfortunately, he is contesting against some forces and a cabal that are determined to oust him from office in 2027 at all costs. Unfortunately, they will fail in removing him, unless the opposition parties and politicians form a formidable alliance and work together.
The primate also revealed that he foresaw an air crash incident in Nigeria in 2026 and urges Nigerians to pray fervently to avert this incident from happening. NIGERIA AND POLITICS
The spirit of God revealed to me that the country Nigeria should pray because of the many things that will be happening. I foresee Nigeria facing challenges and counter-challenges such as ethnic crises. Nigeria must be careful and watchful of economic hardship in the new year.
I foresee the government will do its utmost best to stabilize things, but the balancing will be very difficult. The country will face many political upheavals that will frustrate the efforts of the government on all fronts.
I foresee the government will take a lot of wrong steps in the process. There will be misguided pieces of advice. The spirit of God says the aides will not allow the President to see what is coming ahead. The Lord revealed to me that the efforts of the President will be frustrated by wrong pieces of advice. These are the words of the Lord.
The spirit of God says Nigeria is in a state of coma economically, politically, and security-wise. I foresee that no matter what the President is doing, the situation is critical.
I foresee the President will make a series of serious efforts to win the election for a second term in office.
The spirit of God says in the year 2026, the President must be watchful for what is termed political nemesis in the country. He needs fervent prayers in this regard. I foresee there will be many factors that will determine the situation of affairs. Many challenges will arise against the President even as he will be running around for negotiations with members of the international community. The President will be in a state of desperation and thus will be ready to do and undo many things. The spirit of God says he must be careful and resolute so that he can maintain a firm grip on the ensuing challenges.
I foresee political foes and opposition groups will want to frustrate all his efforts unless he can take decisive steps to thwart the plans and movements of the ADC.
I foresee the ADC members are ready to fight in order to wrest political control of the country from the ruling APC. The main obstacle will be if the ADC fields a weak candidate. The ADC will want to use all the apparatus at its command to achieve what they desire in order to secure victory at the polls.
The spirit of God revealed to me that the ruling party will surprise key figures and elements in the opposition parties and will not encourage any coalition with the PDP. The opposition will welcome coalition arrangements. The ruling party will do everything politically and technically to oppress and suppress the opposition groups and political organizations. The APC will do many things to ensure that the opposition is not gaining any political weight.
The spirit of God says the ruling party must know that the opposition parties are battle-ready and will do everything possible to win come 2027. No doubt Nigerians are not happy with the ruling party. However, I foresee the ruling party will do everything possible to ensure that they utilize the Independent National Electoral Commission and other resources within their powers to secure victory. The ruling party will use the Security Agencies to intimidate and harass those who are committed to the opposition agenda.
The ADC, as a political party, must watch carefully the unfolding drama. I foresee that all areas where the ADC can have an upper hand during polls will be blocked. The Spirit of God says the ruling party will do everything humanly possible to reach out to Obas (traditional rulers), artisans, and students in the country.
The Spirit of God revealed to me that the country called Nigeria needs to watch out to avert bloodbath, natural disasters, and attacks on farmers. Let us pray that we do not see the death of a Fuji musician. Let Nigeria be careful of poisoned baby food. Let us pray that we do not see the death of any cultural dancer. Food will be very expensive. The cost of living will be very high. The standard of living will drop.
Let us pray that we do not lose any activists, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), or a lawyer in Nigeria. Let us pray that we do not lose a one-time governor, one-time Inspectors General of Police, one-time National or State Assembly Speaker, or any past or present federal minister who might fall sick. In Nigeria, let us pray against any boat that might capsize. Some communities will turn spiritual on kidnappers, as revealed by the Spirit of God.
I foresee that crude oil from the Nigerian oil wells will not meet the expected quality grades in the international oil and gas market in the next 20 years. There will be an alternative to crude petroleum, which will cause the price of petrol to crash. By 2034/2035, Nigeria should be aware that the system of government will change, whereby it will no longer be a federal government.
I foresee that Tinubu will do a lot of work for Nigeria to be saved, but those who are working with Tinubu do not want him to progress. They are frustrating Tinubu’s efforts. Some are only pretending. Tinubu should do more checking. Politicians will leave money in some banks to create artificial scarcity.
I foresee that herdsmen want to create panic and explosions in Rivers, Ogun, Kano, Kaduna, and Sokoto states. The Spirit of God says herdsmen, bandits, and kidnappers will be a thing of the past if the government is ready to take the necessary actions without foreign interference.
I foresee that removing Tinubu from power is not their primary concern. The government must not overlook the situation on the ground. They must not sleep because of foreign influence in the coming elections. Despite all the defection by governors, they should look beyond the election as ordinary. The election is not ordinary at all. It is very crucial and serious; both parties will do all they can to defeat the opposition. The opposition has accumulated the resources needed to advance their agenda. The opposition groups mean business; they are ready to use every technique and trick to win. They will be celebrating before the announcement of the final results.
The entire ocean in Lagos will be used for construction. It will be sold and be very expensive. Lagos will enact a new law on real estate. Let us commit schools in Lagos to God’s hands against all attacks. Pray for the principal of federal schools not to be dismissed, the rector not to have an accident, and the Vice Chancellor not to encounter EFCC matters. Nigeria’s satellite in orbit will shift position. Watch so that the army and police do not fight. Lagos State’s Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) will increase. Abia State’s IGR will increase. Ondo State’s IGR will increase. Oyo State’s IGR will increase. Ogun State’s IGR will increase. Rivers State’s IGR will increase. Kaduna’s IGR will increase. Let us pray that teachers do not go on strike and that hospitals remain safe. Let us pray against fire outbreaks in any hospital in Nigeria. There will be a permanent cure for prostate cancer in Nigeria. Tax reforms will cause misconceptions; the government needs to explain. Tinubu wants to do a lot of better things; that is why he wants to change some people in his cabinet.
