God’s candidate in electoral process

The third thing I want to say and put on record is that in the political process the way God has showed us and led us over the years, there are times God will have a candidate for an electoral process. There are also times God will say I don’t have a candidate; there is no person that I have raised. In this article, I am speaking mostly to intercessors. I will like us to understand this issue so that we can pray with knowledge and bring about the will of God. We are not just to pray circumstantial prayer or pray the way circumstances just grant us.

So, if God has a candidate or has raised somebody, our engagement should be different because as the people of God, once we know the will of God it is our responsibility to support and pursue it. It is our responsibility to pray it and work towards it. It doesn’t matter if that person that is the will of God wins or loses. The issue is our obedience because if we obey God we are going to have the blessing of obedience. And part of the blessing of obedience is exaltation, which on the other side is to have good government or Godly leaders rule over us.

So, if God has a candidate or has raised somebody, then our engagement should be different because as the people of God once we know the will of God it is our responsibility to support and pursue it. It is our responsibility to pray it and work towards it. It doesn’t matter if that person that is the will of God wins or loses.”

There are also circumstances when God says I don’t have a candidate. And when God doesn’t have a candidate our engagement should also be different as I am going to shed light as I continue. Now, let me mention different examples in Nigeria when the Lord had said I have raised somebody and mention the role the Church played or did not play in supporting those individuals God had raised.

2007 Election and consequences of disobedience to prophecy

In 2007, the Lord spoke clearly through different prophets. The year 2007 was when the Obasanjo administration was coming to an end. The Lord said clearly that the person He had prepared to succeed President Olusegun Obasanjo was actually a professor from the middle belt region of Nigeria. He said he was the person He had prepared, and who has what it takes to take Nigeria to the next level. I believe this was communicated to President Obasanjo at that time by different prophets. Unfortunately, for some reasons at the last minute President Obasanjo decided to work against it and actually began to oppose that person. And eventually the system threw up Alhaji Umoru Musa Yar’adua. I believe you know the rest of the history and what eventually happened and where we are today.

2019 Election & Prophecies of Pa Elton and Apostle Babalola

Now in 2019 also the Lord spoke to us clearly that the election in 2019 was going to be a kind of a defining moment for Nigeria, and that we should pray, but beyond praying we should engage in the process by taking His word to the leadership of the Church. Some of us in this platform (Revival Altar) remember the efforts we put in this direction, because the Lord asked and tasked us to go to the six geopolitical zones in Nigeria to speak to the Church, especially the Christian bodies like the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) that they should not engage in commercial trading for the 2019 election because that year election was important. He said they should seek Him and support the person He had raised. And the Lord said the person He had raised was also somebody from the middle belt. I don’t what to dwell so much on this. But the middle belt area of Nigeria is important if you go back to the words that were spoken by the fathers like Pa Elton and Apostle Ayodele Babalola. Pa Elton saw clearly what we are going through in Nigeria today in this period of Islamic fundamentalism. He (Pa Elton) said God has invested strength in the middle belt in order to disciple those people and quench that fire before it takes place. He said the middle belt people have the same culture and language, and they are well placed to spread the gospel further north and win disciples before those people (the Islamist fundamentalists) end up with guns and try to disciple the entire nation by force.

“But the middle belt area of Nigeria is important if you go back to the words that were spoken by the fathers like Pa Elton and Apostle Ayodele Babalola. Pa Elton saw clearly what we are going through in Nigeria today in this period of Islamic fundamentalism.”

2007 Election and consequences of disobedience to prophetic warning

So, in 2019, we went as the Lord commanded us to the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria. We had meetings with Church leaders and people in different areas, and at the end of the day some of us came back wounded because we went at our personal costs, expenses and inconveniences. But everywhere we went the story was the same; they were saying the person God had raised didn’t have structure. If you have engaged with CAN and PFN you will know what they mean is that the person doesn’t have money to share. Some of these platforms their idea of elections is actually an opportunity to use those platforms to make money for themselves.

For instance, I remember clearly the meeting that we held in Imo State. The Lord said we should warn them that if they trade with the election it was going to bring sorrow, cry and tears. We can see what is happening in Imo state now. We were in Imo state last March and some of the leaders who attended that meeting said to us what you warned us about has come upon us, what do we do? I told them repent! So, when God has a candidate and He has prepared that person, our responsibility as the people of God is to support that person as a matter of obedience. The issue is if we obey we are going to have the blessing of obedience. God is not limited to the democratic process to intervene in nations. He has different options, and it is our obedience that will license Him to intervene in a way that will be a blessing to His people.

When God has no candidate

There are also situations when God says I don’t have a candidate.  Like in 2015, the Lord told us that the man who is leading us today would win but he was not His candidate. And that his coming would be a bad omen. Everything the Lord spoke to us about we are witnesses that they have come to fulfillment. In the 2012 Election in America when Barack Obama was coming, the Lord said Obama would come but he was not His (God) candidate. He actually said Obama was a candidate of hell and that he was coming to fulfill prophecy. And that the prayer to pray for him is a Prayer of Judah; what you’ve come to do, do quickly! Then in 2016, some of you on my platform would remember I said Trump was God’s candidate, and that God would use him to stem the tide of evil in the world, and specifically that his coming would give our nation about eight years to get things right. So, when God said Trump was His candidate, it was right that we supported him and prayed for him as Church and stood where God was standing. That is what believers are supposed to do.

When God has a candidate

So, in the different scenarios in the political process when God has a candidate our responsibility as a praying people is to pray, support the person and do whatever God will have us do because whenever we identify with God’s way it attracts blessings. The issue is not whether the person God has raised wins or not. The issue is obedience and then honoring our Father if we say we are believers.

The 2003 Election

Having said that, the issue of the election in 2023 I have said this in the circle of brethren around me that in the realm of the spirit I cannot see this election.   I have prayed with my team. We have prayed, shared and stood in the place of prayer with prophetic elder ship and almost everybody is receiving the same thing.

The 2023 Election Presidential Candidates

Concerning the 2023 election and the presidential candidates that the system has produced this is what God is saying about these candidates. God sees them as:

  1. Wasters
  2. Deceivers
  3. Blood suckers
  4. Corrupt
  5. Candidates of hell for an evil purpose (continues next edition)

Let the truth continue to be told. Those that have ears will always hear. And if men of conscience, will abide by God’s Will and purposes for this great nation, Nigeria.

You sir, bro Isaac Ezeh and other great kinds on this and related platforms and bodies, are doing all you can to disseminate the mind of God.

Please do not stop. Sustain your efforts. Your messages are getting through, despite appearing not to (for now).

God can act decisively, on His word, even if there is only one man standing for Him.

Please sir don’t give up. The Lord Who has always been your strength, will perfect His purposes and plans for this nation.

Peace of The Lord Jesus Christ be unto you all, Messenger platform, other platforms in tandem with Christ, the body of Christ and Nigeria. Amen.
