The Lagos State chapter of the Renewal Congress of Aladura and Celestial Churches in Politics (RECAP) has announced plans to host a sensitisation, mobilisation conference and prayer meeting for President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat.

The event, themed “Let It Shine!”, is scheduled to hold on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. prompt at the Chapel of Christ the Light, Alausa, Ikeja, with the biblical theme drawn from Isaiah 60:1.

According to the organisers, the conference is designed to sensitise and mobilise White Garment churches across Lagos State while uniting believers in prayer for the nation’s leadership, peace, and transformation.

The programme will feature spiritual ministrations by His Eminence, Baba Aladura Dr. Oladipupo Okeyomi (Carry Go) and V/S/E Tosho Oshofia, while Hon. Emmanuel Olanrewaju Bamgboye will deliver the keynote address.

Participants are expected to pray for divine wisdom, strength and guidance for President Tinubu and Deputy Governor Hamzat, as well as for righteous leadership and national transformation.

The organisers said the gathering would also encourage greater participation of White Garment churches in promoting good governance, unity and national development through prayer and civic responsibility.

The conference is being organised by the Renewal Congress of Aladura and Celestial Churches in Politics (RECAP), Lagos State Chapter.

In a statement signed by the Lagos State Chairman of RECAP, Prophet Bar Emmanuel Bada, the organisation called on all White Garment churches and interested members of the public to attend the programme.

“Come and let us pray for righteous leadership and national transformation,” the statement read.
