Light Chapel, Jesus is Light Ministries, has announced plans for its 2026 National Convention, with the church officially beginning a 30-day countdown to the annual gathering expected to draw thousands of worshippers from across Nigeria and other parts of the world.

According to information released by the ministry, the four-day convention will hold from Thursday, August 13 to Sunday, August 16, 2026, under the theme, “Light of the World,” based on Matthew 5:14–16 and John 8:12.

The convention is expected to feature powerful Bible teachings, fervent prayer sessions, inspiring worship, and life-transforming ministrations designed to strengthen believers and encourage them to reflect Christ as the Light of the World in their daily lives.

The event will conclude with a special Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, August 16, 2026, as participants celebrate God’s faithfulness and the success of the convention.

Activities will be held at the Light Chapel Headquarters, located at 32–39 Ajayi Bankole Street, Agodo, Cele-Egbe, Lagos, with members of the church’s branches worldwide also expected to participate.

To ensure broader participation, the ministry announced that all sessions will be streamed live on its official social media platforms, including YouTube and Facebook, through @lightchapelhq.

As preparations intensify, the church has encouraged members and the general public to prayerfully prepare for what it describes as a spiritually enriching convention that will inspire believers to shine as God’s light in their generation.
