Mountain of Solution Ministries International (MOSMI) has announced plans to commemorate the 10th memorial anniversary of its founder, the late Bishop Alani Abiodun Olugbenro, during its 2026 Annual Rainbow Convention, scheduled to hold from Wednesday, August 12 to Sunday, August 16, 2026, at the church’s National Headquarters in Maryland, Lagos.
The five-day convention, themed “El Rachum – The Merciful God,” with its anchor scripture from Deuteronomy 4:13, is expected to attract ministers, church members and worshippers from across Nigeria and beyond for a period of worship, fervent prayers, sound biblical teaching and spiritual renewal.
A major highlight of the convention will be a special remembrance service marking 10 years since the passing of Bishop Alani Abiodun Olugbenro, whose ministry laid the foundation for the vision and growth of Mountain of Solution Ministries International, popularly known as the “People of Comfort.”
According to the organisers, the convention will celebrate God’s abundant mercy while reflecting on the enduring legacy, faith and impactful contributions of the late bishop to the Body of Christ. Participants are expected to experience divine encounters through anointed ministrations, heartfelt worship, fervent prayers and the preaching of the Word of God.
The convention will hold at the Mountain of Solution Ministries International National Headquarters, 6A Iya-Oloye Crescent, Idi-Iroko Bus Stop, Onigbongbo, Maryland, Lagos State.
The church has extended an open invitation to families, friends and believers to attend the life-transforming gathering and experience the abundant mercy of God.
The General Overseer of the church, Rev. Abiola Olasunkanmi Olugbenro-Akinseye, expressed confidence that this year’s Rainbow Convention would not only honour the memory and enduring legacy of the late Bishop Olugbenro but would also provide an opportunity for participants to encounter God’s mercy, compassion and transforming power under the convention theme, “El Rachum – The Merciful God.”
