Lagos — Six students have been announced as winners of the Indian Vegetarian and Vegan UK Essay Competition held in partnership with Chi Empathy Towards Animals Organization.
The competition, themed “Benefits of a Vegetarian Diet”, saw students from across Lagos submit essays on health and compassion.
Winners:
Ages 11–14: Tabunmi Fareedah, Lawal Falias, Obunuwe Emmanuel
Ages 15–18: Shumaya Idris, Hamod Yunusa Oluwanifemi, Ale Precious
An award ceremony will hold on Monday, 6th July, 2026 at Distinct Comprehensive College, Egan Igando, Lagos by 8:00 AM All participants will also receive tokens of appreciation.
