Prophet Abiodun Akintola, Ed. D, the General Overseer and Prince of Covenant of God of Covenant C&S Church International, is a distinguished minister whose life and ministry exemplify integrity, faithfulness, and transformational leadership. Born in Iree, Osun State, Nigeria, Prophet Akintola has consistently demonstrated unwavering devotion to God’s call, both in Nigeria and in the United States, where he leads his vibrant white garment church in New Jersey.

A scholar and educator, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Education from Obafemi Awolowo University and later earned a Master of Arts in History from Rutgers University, Newark, NJ, before completing his Doctor of Education at Harvard University, Minnesota. Before fully embracing the ministry, he served diligently as a high school teacher for 14 years, nurturing young minds with discipline and wisdom.

In 2010, Prophet Akintola established God of Covenant C&S Church International, guided by a vision revealed to him in 1998. Under his stewardship, the church has become a beacon of Pentecostal and gospel-based ministry, demonstrating the diverse gifts of God, as outlined in 1 Corinthians 12:1-8. A firm advocate for genuine, Spirit-led ministry, he discourages charlatan practices, emphasizing that God answers prayers by His own volition, not through candles, incense, or ritualistic acts.

Beyond the pulpit, Prophet Akintola is a prolific author, committed to spreading the message of Christ through Christian literature, while maintaining a strong connection with his family and Nigerian branches of his ministry. His unwavering faith, exemplary leadership, and commitment to raising a godly generation continue to inspire countless lives across continents.

For his integrity, dedication, and transformative impact on the Christian community, Prophet Abiodun Akintola is being nominated for the 2026 Benefits Awards for Missionary Excellence (BAME Award) as Distinguished Nigerian Preacher in the Diaspora.
